Holy Trinity Wednesday Robotics Winter 2020

1325 36th Street, NW Washington, DC 20007

Wednesdays, 2/5 to 4/1, 3:30 to 4:30 PM

Grades 1 - 5

In Robotics Club, we build, code, and have fun with LEGO® WeDo 2.0, a hands-on activity that combines LEGO® bricks, kid-friendly software, and engaging projects which inspire kids to explore the world of robotics! Students use gears, pulleys, and axles to create robots that move, crank, spin, and communicate.

In the BusyBots unit, students will examine bots that are taking care of business. Most robots are designed to do a job and the bots in this unit all have work to do! Build a machine to test how earthquake-proof a structure is; build a paper shredder, and even a dancing bot for when you need a break from work!
