Digital Animation: Art & Adventure
Tuesdays, 3:20-4:20 PM, starts on 1/7, ends on 2/25.
Grades 2nd - 6th
In Silver Knights Coding clubs, children learn to code using a visual programming language called Scratch. It’s as easy to use as snapping together building blocks! The Digital Animation unit shows kids how to program their own adventure stories, quiz games, and visual art. What’s your story?
With Scratch, children learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically. Scratch is designed and maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab. Our curriculum teaches new coders the basics, while challenging more experienced coders to create increasingly complex programs. Silver Knights provides a laptop for every child.
